There is going to be some changes to the website coming soon. I will be separating everything into two pages, still accessible through the main site address. However, with all the projects currently in the works, and events that I cannot make public yet, there is a need for a redesign of this site.

To be honest, I have never been happy with how this site looks. I do love having my site on WordPress, but I am not a web designer, nor do I have the extra funds to pay for one, so I have always had to do all this myself. Hence why it has gone through so many looks over the years.

I will be keeping the blog going, with info, food photography, and other random bits of stuff, but this week was crazy busy with ACTF region 7. I taught two workshops, attended a few, then the ceremonies and other events kept me busy. I’m very proud of my students, some of who won major awards and scholarships.

I will be adding a new page: The Action Scholar. I have been using that term for years now, so it’s time I claim it officially. This will be the home of all my scholarly writing, such as my web articles, journal articles, and books. Yes, there are more books and articles coming out.

Speaking of which, you will soon be able to pre-order my second book; The Art of Broadsword for Stage and Screen, from either the publsher or Amazon in a couple of weeks. I will post the links when they are available. The book will be released April 4, 2024 (my birthday month). My first book came out 2/22, so now this means I need to make sure I get a book released on 6/26, and 8/28. That way I will have 2/22, 4/24, 6/26, and 8/28. I know it’s silly, but silly little things like that make me happy.

As I said, there are a lot of projects in the works right now, and as soon as the ink drys on a few of them, I will share the details. I don’t mean to vague-post, just can’t talk about a couple of them yet, and others are only in the beginning phase. But stay tuned.
